Armed holdup at Northland jewellery store

Police are appealing for information after an armed holdup at a Northland jewellery store this morning.

Two offenders, one with a firearm, robbed Distinction Jewellers in Dargaville, 58km south-west of Whangarei, about 9.30am, police said.

The pair left in a stolen 2001 black Subaru Legacy, registration EZQ703.

Anyone with information about the offenders or their vehicle was asked to contact Dargaville police immediately.
