U2 will return to Paris next month to perform after two planned gigs were cancelled in the wake of the recent terror attacks earlier this month.
The Irish rockers were due to play in the French capital on November 14 and 15. Their concerts were to be beamed live toUS fans via cable TV network HBO.
Frontman Bono and his bandmates will now close their world tour in the City of Light on December 6 and 7.
"We watched in disbelief and shock at the unfolding events in Paris and our hearts go out to all the victims and their families across the city tonight. We are devastated at the loss of life at the Eagles of Death Metal concert and our thoughts and prayers are with the band and their fans. We hope and pray that all of our fans in Paris are safe," the band said in a statement a day after the attacks.
U2 resumed its iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour at the SSE Arena in Belfast last week. After kicking off a three-song encore, the band played its 2006 track City of Blinding Lights in honour of the 130 people killed by the terrorists.
