Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner and her husband Bruce have separated after 22 years of marriage.
The pair, who have been the subject of split rumours for months, announced their separation to E! News this morning.
"We are living separately and we are much happier this way," they said.
"But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."
Kris, 57, and Bruce, 63, are parents to teenagers Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
Celebrity sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian are Kris's children from her marriage to lawyer Robert Kardashian.
The pair's announcement comes after Kris's younger sister Karen Houghton told In Touch magazine the couple had separated and former Olympian Bruce has "sought out a lawyer".
"They still do things together. Their relationship goes back and forth. I would love to see them get back together," she said.
Kris had previously worked to quell rumours of the split.
She marked their 22nd wedding anniversary on Instagram with a post reading: "Happy Anniversary Bruce!!!! Best 22 years I could ever have imagined...hope the next 22 is even more fabulous...I love you!"
