Kanye West has lashed out at a talk show host for spoofing him.
The hip-hop star gave an in-depth interview to Britain's Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe this week in which he claimed he is the biggest rock star on the planet, had reached the "glass ceiling" and invented leather jogging pants.
US presenter Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at the comments on his talk show on Wednesday night. As well as questioning whether West knew rappers shouldn't "be their own hype man", he got child actors to re-enact the interview.
The rapper is aggrieved by the skit, taking to Twitter to air his frustration.
"JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS (sic)," he wrote.
West and his girlfriend Kim Kardashian welcomed their first daughter, North West, into the world earlier in 2013. During his talk with Lowe, West explained becoming a father has made him realise paparazzi rules need to be changed.
He has a troubled relationship with photographers and earlier this month was charged with battery and attempted theft after a scuffle with one in Los Angeles.
It seems this is one reason he is so affronted with Kimmel's mocking of the interview.
"JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON'T TAKE IT AS A JOKE. YOU DON'T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER," he fumed.
"JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P***Y IN YOUR LIFE.
"YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY IS THAT FUNNY? OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY??? (sic)."
West finished his rant by claiming comic Sarah Silverman is funnier than Jimmy and by posting rude images of the talk show host on his Twitter page.
