Comedian, actress, TV host and mum of two Jaquie Brown is cramming even more into her already overflowing diary.
The popular 39-year-old Jaquie Brown Diaries star has become a marriage celebrant - and her first nuptials were that of celebrity couple Madeleine Sami and Ladyhawke.
The pair wed in Mastertonin January.
Brown: "I was asked by Madeleine and Pip to marry them, so I went about the process of applying to become a celebrant."
She has two more weddings in the works and says her involvement goes deeper than the wedding day itself.
"I meet the couple and get to know them, help them shape their ceremony and construct their declarations and vows - and help them to not feel freaked out.
"I'm also the glue between the moments of the ceremony and doing all the official paper-signing for Births Deaths and Marriages. It's a beautiful thing."
Brown is not the first celebrity-turned-celebrant. Former TVNZ weather woman Kay Gregory has built a successful celebrant business, and comedian Ewen Gilmour was a popular celebrant.
