Subsidy possible for Viagra in Australia

An Australian Federal Government committee has recommended taxpayers subsidise the cost of Viagra, a move that would slash the price of the anti-impotence drug for some people.

The Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee had earlier rejected two applications by Viagra's maker, Pfizer, to have the drug subsidised.
