Taking to heart the accommodating Thai maxim of "mai pen rai" - "never mind" - the guardians of twin girls accidentally separated at birth 16 years ago have agreed they should stay with the parents they grew up with.
Time would ease any trauma caused by revelations that a Bangkok hospital unwittingly switched the babies of two families, experts said.
All three girls were born on October 29, 1986. The error came to light when a family friend of the "twins" came across the third girl and noticed how closely she resembled one of the twins.
