During the altercation, Love swears and verbally abuses Braswell before asking her what flag she flies.
"I fly a rainbow flag, thank you," Braswell responds, prompting Love to call her "queer" and "lesbian".
Love then continues his rant before asking Braswell to leave while shouting "this is Nazi f**king America".
She said Love kicked her car as she left the property.
Braswell posted the video to Facebook, writing: "We need to ALL stand against Nazis. Share far and wide; let's run this Nazi out of town. For real."
A number of people backed Braswell's stance, with one person writing "You are brave, Thank you for putting yourself in harm's way to protect those who can't."
"Good on you for confronting him, If you want some back up let me know", another said.
However, one person leaped to the defence of Love, saying "Right or WRONG, it is not illegal to be a racist or bigot."
In the aftermath, social media was flooded with calls for white people to speak up against violence and bigotry. Braswell said she agrees.
"Not everyone will be able to confront racism, but here's the thing: We white people caused this mess, and it's our mess to clean up," she wrote on Facebook.
While she was warned against engaging in face-to-face confrontation, Braswell said she was willing to take the risk.
The video has been viewed more than 281,000 times.
Love has since taken the flag down.
