Nuns at Mother Teresa's order have obtained a copyright to her name and their logo from Indian authorities, one of the sisters said yesterday.
They had sought a copyright to prevent commercial groups from using Mother Teresa's name and the logo of the order, said Sister Christie of the Missionaries ofCharity.
The Vatican plans to beatify Mother Teresa, who died in 1997, on October 19 in the last step before the Albanian-born nun can be declared a saint.
