Representatives of the Fiji military and George Speight are meeting this afternoon for more talks aimed at resolving the political crisis.
IRN’s reporter in Suva, Virisila Buadromo, says Speight's head of security is currently meeting with former military commander Ratu Epeli Ganilau.
She says they are discussing the possibility
of the safe and peaceful release of the 27 hostages.
It's the first time the two sides have met in two weeks.
