Mandela to follow-up autobiography

Former South African President Nelson Mandela, whose autobiography Long Walk to Freedom remains a bestseller, will write a follow-up on his time in office.

His spokeswoman, Zelda la Grange, said the book would focus on the events leading to South Africa's all-race elections in 1994 and Mandela's five years in office.

"Over the past two years Mr Mandela has been doing preparatory work for the book and has now reached the stage where he will spend most of his time on the actual writing," she said.
