Save A grandmother was arrested on Tuesday in Mississippi, US, after police found a baby stabbed and placed in a hot oven.
Carolyn Jones, 48, has been charged with the first-degree murder of her baby granddaughter, NBC reports.
The baby, identified as 20-month-old Royalty Marie Floyd, was found dead on Monday
night by a relative who then called the police.
It is not clear where the girl's parents were. Authorities say she had been living with her grandmother at the time of death.
The woman has appeared in court and was given a $500,000 bond.
