Coca-Cola has developed drink cans which customers can reseal using a flat plastic tab that swivels over the can's opening.
The soft-drink giant has tried out the design in the British Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey, and is assessing its possible use.
A spokeswoman said: "Although this exciting innovation is creating a lot of buzz, we have no current plans to introduce this in Great Britain."
