British police have arrested the father of a murdered 23-year-old newlywed after a manhunt that spanned weeks.
"We have arrested 55-year-old Terence Rodgers in connection with the murder of Chanel Taylor," a police spokesman said.
Police had been hunting for Rodgers since his disappearance nearly three weeks ago, after his daughter, Chanel Taylor, was found dead with a shotgun wound to her head in Nottinghamshire, central England.
Terence Rodgers had given Chanel away to groom Lee Taylor, 24, in June and shared a home with the couple after the wedding.
