Explosion rocks Jerusalem supermarket

JERUSALEM - A suspected bomb has exploded in a supermarket in a suburb of Jerusalem, causing many casualties, police said.

The police gave no more details of the explosion in the Kiryat Yovel district. Ambulances rushed to the scene.

The blast occurred several hours after Israeli forces entered the West Bank city of Ramallah, 15 km north of Jerusalem, following a Palestinian suicide attack which killed at least 20 Israelis in the city of Netanya on Wednesday.
