'Cosmo' in Singapore comeback

Popular US women's magazine Cosmopolitan is back with a vengeance in Singapore after the Government lifted a 22-year ban on the publication, the Sunday Times reported.

The city-state's leading book retailers all reported brisk sales for the latest edition of the magazine despite its hefty price tag of US$7.83 ($11.48).

In September the Government removed the ban, but conditions include no full frontal nudity or explicit sexual acts, or articles promoting homosexuality.

Each copy must carry a warning that its contents are "Unsuitable for the Young".
