Shop smarter, not harder
It’s important to be aware that not all deals are genuine bargains. Our advice: If you find a deal on a product you want, do some research to check if you can find the same product cheaper elsewhere. For certain products, there are also websites that show you the historical price, and how it has evolved over time.

- Make a list and set a budget: With so many deals, it’s easy to get distracted. Write down exactly what you need or want to buy (e.g., Christmas gifts, a specific appliance) and figure out how much you can afford to spend.
- Check store policies: Find out what the retailer’s policies are on returns, exchanges, and warranties before buying, especially for big-ticket items.
- Sign up for early access: Many brands offer early access to deals for their members or email subscribers.
- Look for the entire weekend: Don’t panic buy on Friday, the sales often extend through the weekend and into Cyber Monday for online-only deals.
