CMK Senior As travelled north to play Inglewood in what was a must win match for Inglewood to make the top four.
Stratford got on the board early with a Nick Childs' penalty and then stretched their lead to 10 points when Samisoni Nadole scored from set phase.
Stratford spent a majority of the half in Inglewood's 22m and with Inglewood down to 14 following a late tackle, Stratford should have scored but were called back for a forward pass.
Inglewood had great goal line defence and went to the break with the score 10-0 in Stratford's favour. The weather closed in and unfortunately so did the ability to play open running rugby. Kolaia Nalewabau again managed to score and extend the lead to 15-0 at which the score remained.
Stratford's best players were Sam Mako at fullback whose towering right punt kept play down the right end of the field. Kyle Stewart, Shane Denham and David Avery were others to stand out. Next week we are away to Clifton for the final match of the season.
