Tennis: Auckland honours spread around

A large number of clubs have shared Auckland Tennis honours.

Twenty-two clubs won interclub grades while the individual player of the year was ex-Davis Cup team member Teo Susnjak.

The top junior woman was Tracy O'Conner, 17, who plays for Herne Bay and is ranked in the leading 90 in singles and doubles on the ITF rankings.

G D Jones headed the junior male section after winning the NZ 16s title at 14 and having a great year against players much older than himself around the world.

Overall club of the year was Mission Bay.
