World No 2 tennis player Venus Williams was uninjured when the car she was riding in crashed in Florida.
The crash occurred west of Palm Beach Gardens, where Williams shares a home with sister Serena.
Palm Beach County Sheriff spokesman Jay Hart said yesterday that the crash report had not been submitted so details were limited.
A spokeswoman for Williams, Julie Kachner, said: "She may have been in a minor fender-bender, but I don't believe she was seriously hurt."
Williams' half-brother, Richard Williams III, 37, and his wife, Ana, 36, were also were in the vehicle.
They were treated in hospital and discharged.
