Soccer: Senegal striker signs for Liverpool

Senegal soccer striker El-Hadji Diouf has signed a five-year deal with Liverpool.

The former Lens striker cost Liverpool £10 million ($32.5 million).

Senegal were one of the surprises of the World Cup in South Korea and Japan last month when they beat defending champions France in the opening game, and went on to the quarter-finals.
