Rugby: Jackson for Harbour?

North Harbour are set to snare Southland captain Steve Jackson for their NPC campaign.

With Troy Flavell's future up in the air, Harbour are ready to sign lock Jackson, a New Zealand Maori representative and rated as one of the best lineout forwards in the game.

He is understood to be on the verge of agreeing to a move back up north.

Meanwhile, there still seemed to be some prospect that Flavell might turn down a move to Japan and stay in New Zealand, despite claims from his manager that he would be heading to Japanese club Toyota.
