Luscilla, a candidate for the Fayette Park Stakes at Hawera, also looked good at the end of her work, 1200m in 1:21 and the final 600 in 40.4.
Vinaka, a rival for Glitzy at Rotorua, worked well with Singing Star over 1000m in 1:07.5, the final 600 in 40. Centra Rotorua Plate candidate Sunray maintained an even gallop over 1200m in 1:22.9, the 600 in 41.8.
Sierra Dane led Florida to the end of 800m in 52.8, the last 600 in 40.2.
Galway Lass, who continues her New Zealand Cup preparation in the Egmont Cup on Saturday, worked soundly over 1200m in 1:23.8, the last 600 in 41.6.
