Remmers Man coped with the conditions well during a rain-soaked session at Matamata yesterday.

Ridden by co-trainer Andrew Scott on the all-weather track, Remmers Man worked boldly over 1200m in 1:19.8, the final 600 in 37.2. It was an excellent trial for Sunday's local meeting.

Ellerslie two-year-old candidate Hulachine was well held
over 1200m on the sand, clocking 1:26 and 40.2.

Logarythm ran the last 1000m of his work on the all weather in 1:10.4, 600 in 40.2.

Empower strode to the finish of 1200m in 1:23.6, the 600 in 39.8.

Kristov did similar work to record 1:24.2 and 39.

Miss Moss was working well at the end of 1200m in 1:20.2, the 600 in 39.5.

Let's Go Girl took 1:19.8 for 1200m, the 600 in 38.6.

Fastenyourseatbelt worked over 1:20.2, the 600 in 38.4.

The Ritchie-trained Sarada and Sokool completed their final trials for Ellerslie and New Plymouth respectively in approved fashion at Takanini.

Working on the outside of a slushy No 1 grass, Sarada sprinted 800m in 52.3, the last 600 in 38.8. This was smart going even allowing he had first use of the track.

Sokool ran 1000m with deceptive ease in 1:5, the last 600 in 40. She could not be fitter for her hat-trick bid.

Winton visitor Our Kashani ran the last 600m of his work in 41.4 and appeared to be revelling in his task. Foal Stakes rival Seigla Bay finished 1000m in 1:8.4, the last 600 in 40.5.

Nicolash worked nicely ahead of Matamata, running 1000m with Try For Cash in 1:6.8, the last 600 in 41.6.

Preferred Lies enhanced her chances for Ellerslie this weekend with an encouraging workout at Cambridge.

Working on the outisde of a soft No 2 grass Preferred Lies relished the conditions when galloping 1000m in 1:6, sprinting the concluding section in 39.4.

No Fibs and Tigerana matched strides over 1200m completing the last 800m in 53.6.

Governors Girl worked in from the 800 in 53.6.

Ellerslie entrant Tsar Omar worked attractively at Te Awamutu yesterday.

Working on the outside of a soft No 1 grass Tsar Omar appeared to be handling the track conditions well when running 1000m in 1:5.4, the last 600 in 39.7.

Gillera ran 800m in 52.7, the 600 in 39.5. Sweet Dancer and Didy's Best galloped well in their final preparation for racing at Ellerslie.

Working on the grass Sweet Dancer was stretching out nicley nicely at the end of a 600m sprint taking 38.5.

She contests the Progressive 1600 tomorrow.

Didy's Best indicated he is due to show some form when covering 800m with Vela Luka in 50.1 completing the final 600 smartly in 37.4.

Jezaam had the measure of Dodo Bird at the end of 800m returning 52.3 and the final 600 in 39.2.

Jezaam lines up in the intermediate 1200m at Matamata.

Just Different, Landvetter and Fourum each ran sound gallops at Te Rapa.

On a soft No 1 grass, Just Different worked well in the conditions to run 1000m in 1:03.5, the final 600 in 38.8.

Landvetter ran her 1000m in 1:2.4, the final 600 in 38.4.

Fourum ran 1:04.1 for the same distance, coming home in 38.1.

At Pukekohe, Last Laugh and Maserati, worked with Little Jess on a heavy course proper and covered 800m in 50.5, completing the last 600 in 37.7.

Over the same distance, Dipped In Grey ran 50.2, the last 600 in 37.1, while El Careto ran his 800 in 50.4 the last 600 in 37.8.

All but Little Jess will start at Ellerslie tomorrow.

Holy Summer Storm and Not Sure again worked impressively for their Ellerslie engagements in training at Te Aroha.

On a soft No 2 grass, Holy Summer Storm galloped 1200m in 1:23.3 coming home the last 600 in 36.2.

Not Sure was unextended, taking out 1000m in 1:5.5 the last 600 in 36.8.
