LONDON (AP) England's injury problems are piling up ahead of next year's Six Nations, with winger Marland Yarde the latest player to be ruled out for the start of tournament as he requires hip surgery.
Yarde's club, London Irish, said on Friday he will miss 12 to 14 weeks because of the operation, which will repair a torn hip tendon.
Lock Geoff Parling and center Manu Tuilagi will already miss the start of the Six Nations because of injury, while flanker Tom Croft was out for the season with a knee problem.
The Six Nations begins on Feb. 1.
Yarde forced his way into England's team after impressing on the summer tour to Argentina, and started the autumn test against Australia before hurting his hip.
