Marina Erakovic's quest to replicate what she achieved in the doubles at Wimbledon last year has been delayed, after her third-round doubles match was suspended due to rain.
The New Zealand No 1 and Thai partner Tamarine Tanasugarn were leading the fifth-seeded Russian pairing of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina 3-2 in the first set when rain stopped play.
The match is scheduled to resume on court 15 from 10.30pm (NZT) tonight, weather permitting.
Erakovic and Tanasugarn were beaten semifinalists at Wimbledon last year.
