The listing references his death straight away: "For sale is a genuine stunning hand signed approximately 8 inch x 6 inch Photo of All Blacks Rugby legend Jonah Lomu who we so sadly lost today."
The description goes on to detail exactly why the photograph is a steal, including highlights of Lomu's career.
"Jonah Lomu was a New Zealand rugby union player," the auction states.
"He had sixty-three caps as an All Black after debuting in 1994. He is generally regarded as the first true global superstar of rugby union. He had a huge impact on the game."
The photo - which has a starting price of $50 - is in good condition with minor marks and bends and "would be a great addition to any collection", the seller states.
The seller says they are a member of the Universal Autograph Collectors Club, so buyers could be certain they were getting the real deal.
The photo will come with a lifetime authenticity certificate, the seller states.
Another item, a Jonah Lomu photo trading card signed by the star, has also been listed by the same user.
It is going for a whopping $300.
A copy of the documentary "Anger Within: Jonah Lomu - A Rugby Legend" has also been put on TradeMe since Lomu's death.
It includes a synopsis of the film, stating: "Jonah Lomu is without a doubt the most famous rugby player of all time. His physique, his power, his speed and his determination revolutionised the game."
