Former Scotland manager Ally McLeod, who led his country to the 1978 World Cup finals in Argentina, has died, aged 72. He had been suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
Born in Glasgow, the charismatic McLeod played for Blackburn Rovers and Hibernian, but made his name as a coach.
He succeeded Willie Ormond as Scotland manager in 1977.
