The White Ferns' opening cricket match in Ireland was abandoned yesterday following heavy showers at Clontarf.
The match was reduced to 42 overs but New Zealand still made a good fist of it, scoring 249 for six.
Ireland were 18 for one in 6.1 overs when rain forced the abandonment.
Rebecca Rolls (88) and Nicola Payne (60) gave the New Zealanders a solid start. Kathryn Ramel scored 20 and Sara McGlashan 25.
The White Ferns completely dominated the Netherlands in their earlier three one-dayers.
Batting first on each occasion, they scored more than 240 runs in their three innings before dismissing the Dutch for below 100 runs in all three matches.
