After Kane Williamson's record-breaking 18th test century for New Zealand, the Blackcaps will try to increase their lead over England today.
The Blackcaps finished the second day on 229/4, 171 runs ahead of England who was bowled out for 58 in their first innings.
As the players left the field
for their dinner break yesterday, the rain started to fall and the umpires decided to call it a day at 9pm.
