Basketball: Discipline hearings on hold

Basketball New Zealand is taking disciplinary action against Otago import Branduinn Fullove and Auckland import Brock Gillespie despite not being able to finalise the process until the NBL playoffs are over.

Fullove faces a charge after being ejected for throwing the ball at referee Kelly McLeod during Sunday's Stars and Nuggets match; and Gillespie, who was also sent off, is charged after kicking Nuggets centre Miles Pearce.

The league's process means its committee will not meet for at least 14 days.
