New Zealand's sporting rivalry with Australia reaches tipping point this weekend and a confident Kiwi punt could have lucrative returns.

A $10 multi-bet on New Zealand teams to beat their trans-Tasman rivals in rugby, league, basketball and netball this weekend would return $1280 at the TAB.

The All Blacks are huge favourites to retain rugby's Bledisloe Cup tomorrow night while New Zealand's netballers, basketballers and Warriors are all at long odds to beat their rivals from across the ditch.

In netball - with everything going to plan - Australia and New Zealand will meet in the World Cup final on Sunday in Sydney.

And in basketball, the nations' men and women meet in Melbourne on Saturday in the opening leg of qualifying games for next year's Rio Olympics. The TAB don't provide odds on the Tall Ferns' match but the Tall Blacks are paying $10-1 to beat the Boomers.

And on Saturday night the Warriors are paying $3-1 to halt their end of season slump in Penrith against the Panthers.

The trans-Tasman battles will shape the sporting landscape, particularly in netball and rugby where the Wallabies seek to end an almighty hoodoo.

The Wallabies must halt a 29-year winless streak at Auckland's imposing Eden Park to capture the coveted Bledisloe - and take bragging rights ahead of the looming World Cup.

The Bledisloe battle will - hopefully from an Australian-New Zealand view - precede the Netball World Cup final on Sunday between the nations.

The dream fixture depends on both doing as they should - winning - in Saturday's semis. New Zealand are paying $3.50 to win the tournament while Australia are $1.30 favourites.

Trans-Tasman odds:

Tall Blacks over Boomers @$10
Silver Ferns to win World Cup @$3.50
Warriors to beat Panthers @$3
All Blacks to beat Wallabies @1.22
