Internet-Mana would have four MPs in Parliament if its support in the latest Herald-DigiPoll survey were translated to an election result.

At 3.4 per cent, Internet-Mana leader Hone Harawira would bring in Laila Harre, Annette Sykes and John Minto so long as Mr Harawira keeps Te Tai Tokerau or Sykes wins Waiariki from Maori Party co-leader Te Ururoa Flavell.

At a recent Tauranga community meeting a crowd of about 150 heard candidates and party backer Kim Dotcom discuss policies. One was to make tertiary education free for all New Zealanders and wipe the existing student loan debt held by Kiwis.

The internet mogul said huge student loans was forcing the brightest young people to look for higher-paying overseas jobs. The party also wants to improve internet access around the country,
