A youth killed when his car and a fully laden truck and trailer unit collided head-on near Huntly about 7.15 on Saturday morning was Tuwhaia Ashby, 18, of Huntly.
The accident occurred about 2km south of Huntly on State Highway 1.
On Friday, Aucklander Edward John Harborne, 25, died after being hit by a car in Royal Rd, Massey, about 6pm.
Wellington woman Lisa McLachlan, 28, died after her stationwagon and a northbound light truck collided on State Highway 1, near Ohau, 5km southwest of Levin on Saturday.
