North Canterbury police have arrested three people over a home invasion in Kaiapoi that left a man with head injuries.
Three males, aged 16 (of Kaiapoi), 20 and 24 (of Christchurch) have been charged over their alleged roles in the July 15 incident. They will appear in the Christchurch district and youth courts.
The victim is recovering well after sustaining head injuries and having his property stolen - including his vehicle, which was found burnt out on Ferry Rd four days later.
An investigation had found the incident was not random and the general public was not considered to be at risk.
