Teenage girl Alizayh, 14, missing from Huntly has family, police worried

Alizayh, 14, has been missing from her Huntly home since Sunday.

Fourteen-year-old Alizayh has been missing from her Huntly home since Sunday.

Her aunty Cajma Bridges, and nana Mandy Goff, who the girl lives with, are concerned for her welfare.

Alizayh hasn’t been heard from or seen since October 6, when she was last home at about 11pm.

href="https://www.nzherald.co.nz/topic/police/" target="_blank">Police confirmed they were looking for Alizayh, but had not found any clues on her whereabouts yet.

“She has been reported missing from her Huntly home, and police and her family have concerns for her welfare.

“She was last seen at home on Sunday evening and inquiries so far have not been able to locate her.”

Bridges told Waikato Herald that this was “very unusual for her”, and it was the first time she had done it. She left a note to her nana before she left.

Bridges didn’t want to divulge what was in the note but said it was of a concerning nature.

The family knows “nothing at all” about where she might have gone.

Bridges said she had spoken to all of Alizayh’s friends who were also worried and hadn’t heard from her either.

“She is my niece, my baby, we just want her home and safe. We are all so worried about her.”
