The trial for a couple accused of murdering a man in his car while he ate takeaway pizza will begin today.
Gurjinder Singh, 27, and Amandeep Kaur, 32, allegedly killed 35-year-old Davinder Singh, who was married to Kaur at the time.
She was with her husband on the night of the incident on August 7, 2014 when police said they had stopped on a Papatoetoe road to eat takeaways while on their way home from work.
Kaur was too distressed to talk to police the day after her husband's death but not long after being interviewed, police charged her and Gurjinder Singh with murder.

The motive for the attack was not robbery, police said at the time.
Kaur and the victim have a 10-year-old son who was living in India, family said.
Davinder Singh came to New Zealand from Rajasthan seven years ago and had been working as an upholsterer at DS Furniture in Mangere.
The trial in the High Court at Auckland is scheduled to last four weeks.
