Tainui unveil plans for Hamilton subdivision

Tainui have unveiled plans for a huge subdivision just east of Hamilton capable of housing 15,000 people.

The 600ha Tainui Developments proposal includes about 140ha of low-to-medium-density housing and 21ha of high-density housing.

It would centre around Ruakura's three major research areas: Waikato University, AgResearch and the proposed Innovation Park.
