Student hostel planned for Tauranga

A 300-room hostel costing up to $8 million will be built at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic.

The first 75 rooms at the Windermere campus should be finished within a year.

The three-stage project is aimed at luring more students and ease what students say is a chronic accommodation shortage.
