Three fire trucks are at the site in Flat Bush, Auckland, where a digger has tipped and trapped a man.
At 4:30 this afternoon fire crew were working to free the man, together with ambulance staff and police.
A fire spokesman said the service received a call at about 4pm that a digger had tipped at a property on Flat Bush School Rd.
"We are responding to reports of a digger tipped over, someone possibly trapped," the spokesman said not long after the incident.

Advertise with NZME.At 4:30 he said the crew were on site and still working to remove him from the digger.
A St John spokeswoman said the man, in his 40s, had moderate injuries.
