Kerehi said Spawnbreezie was the sort of act where, even if you didn't know the name, you would certainly recognise the songs.
"He's a pretty big deal," he said.
The concert is not just a one-act show, though - joining the reggae star is Wellington act Aio.
Formed at Whitirea Community Polytech in Wellington in 2012, the band's music is a blend of jazz, funk, rock and reggae and, even though they formed less than two years ago, they have already made multiple tours throughout New Zealand and Australia.
Rounding off the bill is a favourite for fans of the Maori Television karaoke show Homai te Paki Paki - Chad "the Boogie Man" Chambers, who took out the competition last year.
Tickets can be bought from promoter Jermaine Kerehi, from Masterton music store Vinyl Heaven or at the door on the night. They cost $40 from the door on the night, or $30 pre-sale. The show kicks off at 7pm.
