The boot was on the other foot, though, in the under-11s grade, with Greytown accounting for the Rams 34-17. That was a reversal from the result of their previous clash.
The Rams under-10s continued their impressive form with a 50-10 win over a Carterton side who were more competitive than the final scoreline might suggest, but the under-9s found Martinborough too tough.
The Rams enjoyed a splendid set of results in the under-6 and under-8 grades. They were involved in 10 matches there and came up with nine wins and one draw.
All three under-8 sides are near the top of the points table and the two under-6 sides are showing the benefit of improving their ripping and ball skills.
