Queen coming to New Zealand in October

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are to visit New Zealand in October.

Buckingham Palace announced today that the Queen and her husband will come to New Zealand after visiting Australia in October.

The royal couple will begin their tour in Australia on October 3 where the Queen will open the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Brisbane.

They will arrive in New Zealand for a week-long stay on October 12 and will visit Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin.
