Qantas super payout breakthrough

Former Qantas New Zealand staff have made a breakthrough in their battle for $15.5 million in superannuation. The staff received $13.2 million of the money on Thursday - but still face trouble collecting the remaining $2.3 million and an estimated $13 million in unpaid wages.

More than 800 of the 1100 workers who lost their jobs were members of the super scheme.
