Police officers attacked at Croatian consulate

Two police officers were treated for bite marks and kicking injuries after a man allegedly attacked them at the Croatian consulate in West Auckland yesterday.

Police were called to the consulate in Henderson after a man caused a disturbance, said Inspector Dave Montgomery.

When the officers arrived, the man confronted them and allegedly began struggling with them. He will appear in the Waitakere District Court today.
