Police are seeking witnesses to an armed robbery at a Mt Albert TAB, in Auckland this evening.
Two people entered the TAB on New North Rd, near Carrington Rd, at 6pm.
Auckland Metropolitan police inspector Kerry Watson said the offenders were in possession of a firearm.
They fled the scene, with a number of items, in a light-coloured four-door sedan along New North Rd in the direction of the city.
Watson said a rear window of the vehicle was smashed by a member of the public as it left the scene.
