A person walking in the Britomart tunnel caused major disruption at rush hour this morning, stopping all trains across Auckland.
Auckland Transport tweeted a trespasser in the tunnel forced all train services to be suspended around 7.20am.
The city's main rail station reopened about 15 minutes later after police were
called to find the person walking through the long tunnel.
Passengers heading to work and school were warned to expect delays as trains resumed their regular timetable.
