Pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by a car in Northland

A pedestrian is seriously injured after they were hit by a car in Mangamuka, Northland last night.

A Police spokeswoman said the person was taken to hospital by ambulance and has serious injuries.

The crash occurred near the Makene Rd and State Highway 1 intersection. Police were advised at 10:25pm.
