Painkiller okay says Asthma Foundation

Occasional doses of paracetamol should not be a problem for asthma sufferers, the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation says.

A 10-year international study has found a link between paracetamol sales and asthma prevalence in adults and children aged 13 and 14.

Following a review, the foundation said its advice was unchanged: people with asthma should not use large doses of paracetamol regularly without discussing this with their family doctor.
