One person is dead and two are in hospital with serious injuries after a car crashed into a shop in South Auckland.
The accident happened in the early hours of the morning.
Emergency services say the accident happened on Massey Road in Mangere.
It is believed the car left the road and went over a fence before crashing into the shop.
One person was trapped in the car for some time.
Meanwhile, several cows have had to be put down after a South Island road crash.
It happened when a truck ploughed into a herd on State Highway One, just north of Chertsey.
Police say the driver is badly shaken and they are still do not know exactly what caused the crash.
It was one of a string of 20 overnight road incidents in the South Island.
And three people are in hospital in Whangarei, after a car collided with camper van late yesterday.
The crash happened at Oakleigh, just outside the city.
Police say the car had been stolen.
